What kind of investment is necessary to obtain an initial visa and then a residence permit?

  • The most common is the purchase of a property with a minimum total value of 500,000 Euros. However, there are other investment possibilities such as the purchase of Spanish shares or the creation of a public interest company in Spain which, if you are interested, our legal team can explain to you in detail.

If I decide to buy a property, can I get a mortgage?

  • Yes, but from 500,000 euros onwards. The first half a million euros is required "in cash", i.e. without a mortgage.

Can I get a Golden Visa if I invest through my company?

  • Yes. In this case, a permit will be granted for the person with a direct or indirect majority of shares/units and permission to represent the majority of the members of the entity, given that the minimum investment requirement is met.

Do I have to maintain the investment?

  • Yes, only for the duration of the permit.

Will my family benefit?

  • Yes, the investor can obtain the same visa and permit for his/her spouse and children (and dependents with disabilities without age restrictions).

Will I obtain Spanish nationality?

  • If the residency is voluntarily converted into a permanent residency (actually living in Spain at least 6 to 9 months a year), we will adapt your permit and that of your family so that you can obtain Spanish citizenship.

What are the requeriments I will be asked to meet?
